报告摘要
Cavity quantum electrodynamics system is the basic playground of quantum optics and fundamental quantum physics. It is also a good system for generating the nonclassical states and testing quantum behaviors of atom-photon interaction on the single quanta level. I will show how we reach the strong coupling between single neutral atom and the cavity experimentally, including the cold atom manipulation from atom ensemble to individual atoms; microcavity control and the direct measurement of single atom transits and single atom trajectory based on strongly coupled cavity QED in the optical domain. Future works based on the current system is presented.
