Strong-Field Ionization of Helium: Playing with EberIonium

报告摘要

Theoretical calculations based on one-dimensional (1D) two-active-electron models have been widely used in strong-filed physics for over twenty years. Such models can greatly reduce the computational costs and can keep some two-electron features such as the electron-electron correlation. 1D models are also practical testbeds for examining theoretical and numerical methods. By performing ab initio calculations based on the 1D helium model, one can address some interesting questions in the strong-field regime.

 

报告人简介:Mr. Chuan Yu is a final year PhD student in the department of Physics and Astronomy at Aarhus University, Denmark. He will receive his PhD degree in August.
